Any high school girl planning to play volleyball needs to try to come to the open gym tomorrow (Tuesday Aug 29) from 3-5 to try on jerseys. Or if they can’t make it contact Coach Blakenship so she can get them ordered.

The last day of school is Thursday, May 22nd, and it will be a 1:30 dismissal for the entire district.

3rd-5th Grade parents: Please note that the AR Reward party at Bond County Christian Camp has been CHANGED to Wednesday (from Tuesday) due to the weather forecast. So, please pack their lunch on Wednesday :)

Lots of action for the Lady Aces softball team this weekend. The Lady Aces are your Egyptian Illini Conference Champions after defeating CHBC 13-0 then Martinsville 12-0. 4 members of the team earned special honors. Named to the all conference team were: Lily Johnson Jenni Mezo Taylor Stone Callye Earnest (honorable mention) And Lily Johnson holds the strike out record for the Mulberry Grove aces with 609 strike outs in her career. She entered the tournament with 599 before striking out 10 batters in the 2 games. Congrats and good luck on the rest of the season!! Go Aces!!!

MG sports fans, The High School Softball game scheduled for today in Nokomis has been canceled due to weather. We have a home conference game scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, May 2nd vs Martinsville at 4:30. High School Baseball also has a conference game tomorrow, Friday, May 2nd vs St. Elmo/Brownstown at 4:30. Go Aces!!!

Student shout out!! This is a weekly reward to amazing students who are SOARING at MGES! Congrats to Jayce Hans and Emeree Lindahl! Jayce took time at recess to help a classmate tie his shoes. Emeree helped clean off tables at lunch. Way to go!! We are all so proud of you here at MGES!!

Jr High and HS sports banquets have been moved: Due to holidays and other activities, the sports banquets have been moved to the following dates. Jr High awards will be May 8th at 6pm in the high school gymnasium. High school banquet will be May 9th at 6pm in the high school gymnasium with a banquet meal to be served. Please let the high school office know how many will be attending so we can plan appropriately. To our promoted 8th graders and our graduating seniors: "Once and Eagle/Ace, always and Eagle/Ace" Go MG!!
