
Mulberry Grove Jr/Sr High school had 11 students with perfect attendance for the first half of the school year. Attendance might seem meaningless to some but by having good attendance habits, students retain knowledge better, as well as maintain better grades.

Whitley and Allison recently had the opportunity to represent the Grove at the spring Youth Advisory Council in Springfield sponsored by Senator Jason Plummer. They were able to see the newly renovated Illinois Senate, interact with Senator Plummer, and complete an exercise in how a bill is passed through legislation. Great job, ladies!


Dear Parents/Guardians and students,
Junior High students will be IAR testing April 7th -April 9th.
The following criteria must be met in order to participate in the incentive:
Present for all three days of testing - no excused or unexcused absences are allowed.
No tardies the week of testing.
No behavioral referrals the week of testing - this also includes behavioral logs.
The incentive details are still being determined and information will be given to students when it is finalized. We ask that during testing, students get a good nights sleep and eat a good breakfast so that they can be at their very best.


Mulberry Grove Prom
Prom is April 5th at the 8th Day Venue in Vandalia. Walk in will start at 7 and coronation will be at 7:30.
All forms for students and their guest for Prom and Post Prom are due March 28th.


Today's (March 24th) High School softball game against South Central in Kinmundy will now start at 5pm today due to field conditions.

The Mulberry Grove Aces boys basketball team finish the season with a conference record of 4-1 and are this year's Egyptian Illini Conference Champs. Congrats to Coach Barber and the team on a tremendous season.

Haylee was 10th in most toss ups answered for the regular season. Aden was 5th, and Colin was 3rd.
Colin also was #1 for the JV team.

Congratulations to Ellie Albert for competing at the district level and winning District 4 Dairy Entrepreneurship category with her record book. Ellie has dedicated alot of time to her book, and her animals throughout this process. Good luck to Ellie as she will now advance to the STATE level to compete for her Dairy Entrepreneurship category!
