Pack the gym night:
Our 7th grade Lady Eagles volleyball team will be playing tonight against Lovejoy at 7pm in the regional quarterfinal match. This game will follow a 6pm game between West Salem and Grayville.
Come on out and cheer our Lady Eagles on to victory and push them into the Regional Championship game that will occur on Wednesday at 6pm.

Mulberry Grove came home with the championship hardware from Sandoval's Fresh/Soph tournament. They had to play 3 games to get it done but beat Sandoval and South Central before beating Wayne City in the Championship match.


Special thank you to the 7th grade East St. Louis Younge volleyball team for cleaning up our bleachers after their season came to an end with a loss during their regional game at Mulberry Grove Jr/Sr High school. Thank you to the coaches, parents, and fans who are teaching these young ladies more than just the game of volleyball. Keep up the amazing work ladies as you strive to make a difference in this world.

We will have one final match up in Ramsey on Thursday, Feb 22 to help them celebrate a senior night for their athletes. It will be a varsity only game beginning at 7pm.

February 15th, we will be in action in Nokomis for JH volleyball. Please note that the "C" game has been cancelled. The 7th grade game will start at 6pm followed by 8th grade. The bus will leave at 4:45.

Looking for something to do Thursday February 15th? Come on out to support our High school basketball team for senior night. We will be playing a varsity game starting at 7pm and recognizing the senior members of Basketball and Cheer before the game at approximately 6:30. We will also be recognizing our student voted most influential teachers of the season.
It is going to be a great night and you won't want to miss it.

Mrs. Susan Hall was recognized by ISBE (Illinois State Board of Education) as being a top educator in the state.
She will be presented the Award of Meritorious Service under the Those Who Excel nominations. There were a record number of nominations this year and she was awarded this prestigious honor along with others across the state.
Mrs. Hall will attend a banquet in May 2024 to receive her award.
Congratulations Mrs. Hall! All of us Mulberry Grove CUSD #1 are very proud of your accomplishments as an educator.

Please join us on February 6th @ 6 p.m. in the cafeteria for our mandatory FAFSA Completion Night. Please check your email so you know the documentation needed to complete the FAFSA. This is a graduation requirement!


A huge thank you to Plocher Construction and Rachelle Lengermann for giving some of our students an opportunity to tour their construction site in Vandalia, IL and provide them with important information about a career in construction and the various trades that work together to complete a project!

Please use the Unit Office entrance (at the corner of the building, near the elementary entrance) to get to the cafeteria for our FAFSA information night at 5:30 p.m. If you are unable to make it tonight, I will pass along the information we discuss. You will need to create your FSA ID before our FAFSA night in February. If your student needs help with doing this, I am more than happy to help them at school!

Our FAFSA Information Night is scheduled for tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. The time has been moved up to accommodate our basketball games being moved to Thursday due to the chance of inclement weather on Friday.
